Melba Vera Sigsworth

     Melba Vera Sigsworth was born on 4 February 1899 at Keenansville, Simcoe County, Ontario.1,2 She was the daughter of John Sigsworth and Esther Wilson.1 She married first James Anthony Pappajohn on 2 April 1924 at Vancouver, British Columbia.1 She married second Percival Claude Broder, son of John Broder and Alice Mary Graves, on 25 June 1941 at New Westminster, British Columbia.3 She died on 30 November 1990 at Vancouver, British Columbia, at age 91.4,5

Her obituary in the Canadian Adventist Messenger in April 1991 read:
"Pappajohn, Melba (Sigsworth) was born at Beeton, Ontario February 4, 1899 and passed away at New Westminster, BC on November 30, 1990. She became a member of the SDA church at the age of 16. Surviving her are three children: Helen VanDenburgh, Douglas and William. There are also 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren surviving."2
