NoteFor the present, we do not know what happened to Dean Baker, though, presumeably, he is deceased at the time Silva married Joseph Diehl.

According to the 1930 census at Broomfield, Isabella County, Michigan, Silva had at least one son, Ronald, by Dean Baker, for he is present at Joseph Diehl's stepson. There are also five children of an age that they will be Silva's by Joseph Diehl.

There is some evidence that Silva's marriage to Joseph Diehl ended in divorce. She may have married a third time.
