| Note | Census information indicates that James Judson Vrooman went by Judson. The transcription of Field Brown Vrooman Cemetery in 1928 by Dr. W.G. Reive shows him buried with his mother Eliza Goodson and transcribes his stone as James J. Vrooman, 1848-1878. The birth years of 1848 must indicate a worn stone, for census information places his birth as being approximately 1843. Morse Funeral Home records provided by the Niagara Branch of the OGS shows a date for Judson of 27 December 1879. This may or may not be the funeral date. Again, apparently by the time Dr. Reive viewed the stone in 1828, the stone was probably worn. A death registration for Judson has not been found. |
