David Weaver's first marriage was to a Mary. The 1861 census shows them in Windham Township with several children. One of them is John Weaver who lived to age 93 and died in 1937 in Yarmouth Township, Elgin County. On his death registration, his mother's maiden name is given as Swayze (or spelling variant). David and Mary are buried in Round Plains Cemetery in Windham Township. The 1861 census at Windham shows David and Mary with seven children, the youngest being 6. |
