| Note | Henry Robert Husband's name appears on a stone in the family cemetery in St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville, as does that of Mary Alderson, Henry's first wife. According to Henry's diary, however, Henry Robert is buried beside Mary in the Ebenezer Methodist Church yard in Nassagaweya Township. Henry Robert is the son of Jane Coleman. Death reg. 004416-78 Oakville, Halton Co. Henry Robert Husband died 27 June, 1878. Age 6 years, 9 months. Son of Henry Husband, Nassagaweya. Methodist. Diptheria, inanition - refused nourishment, nine days. Physician Dr. Johnson. Informant Henry Husband, teacher, Oakville. Henry only states in his diary, which wasn't begun until April of 1892, that Henry Robert refused to take his medicine. The transcription of Ebenezer United Church Cemetery does not show a gravestone for this child, but, as mentioned above, his name does appear on the family stone in St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville. |
