| Note | Charlotte appears in the 1930 census as a child of 11 as an 'inmate' in what may have been a school for the blind. An older generation of family members recall Charlotte visiting with the Husband sisters in Toronto. It is believed she spent her later years in Texas. She appears with her parents in the 1920 census, but has not been found in the 1930 census. Nor has her sister been found there.

She was married twice, according to the obituary presented. Her first husband was Ross Griffith. They met while getting guide dogs in New Jersey and married in 1945 in Knox City, Texas. Ross died in 1977 and she was then married in 1979 to Rev. James Patterson. James died in 2008. |
