NoteCharles' dates of birth and baptism are taken from Ida Reed's transcription of the Wesleyan Baptism records as they appear on Bill Martin's web pages. Dumfries is given as the place of birth and of baptism, though, by this time, Dumfries had been divided between Waterloo and Brant Counties. From what we know of the family, the birth likely took place in South Dumfries of Brant County and the baptism at St. George.

Death reg. 011203-85 Town of Simcoe, Norfolk Co. Charles W. Lawrason, age 31, died 22 December 1885. Fruit grower. Born Harrisburg. Informant Daniel Matthews, gentleman.

The death of Charles was registered in July of 1885. It does show his death as December of 1885, but looking over the page, this is obviously an error and he will have died in 1884.

This tree shows Charles as born in South Dumfries Township. He was likely considered born near Harrisburg, which is also near St. George. The Wesleyan Methodist Church was at St. George.
