| Note | Birth reg. 002717-70 Grey Twp., Huron Co. 7 Feb. 1870, Thos. W. Laurason, s/o Richard Laurason, Wagon Maker, Walton Village and Maria Amelia Illiger. The handwriting is difficult for Maria's maiden name and the recording clerk wasn't sure of the spelling for he wrote (sic.) under it. It has the look as though 'Illiger' is what was originally intended Walton apparently straddles McKillop and Grey Townships in Huron County. The 1871 census enumerates the family in Grey Township. Death reg. 001611-76 Teeswater, Bruce Co. Thomas Wilson Lawrason, died 9 March 1876, age 6. Born Walton, Ontario. Informant Richard Lawrason, Teeswater. |
