| Note | We take Roxa Jane Doud to be the daughter of Ira Doud and Roxa Clemons. The evidence is thin, but compelling. She and Charles named a daughter Cynthia Ann and a son Ira D. Babcock. Ira Doud and Roxa Clemons had a daughter Cynthia Ann and so we must believe Cynthia Ann Babcock to be named after Roxa's sister.While direct evidence has not been found, his full name was apparently Ira Doud Babcock. Beyond that, Roxa was born in the United States in 1829. We have no information which tells which U. S. state she was born in, but this is consistent with her siblings' American birth.
