Per usual, this registration does not tell us the place of marrige. Also, as with at least some Church of England registrations from this era, information provided is minimal in terms of what was asked on the form.

NoteEarly information for Alexander Urquhart is minimal. The McGill University Digital Maps quotes a gazette from 1877 and states that Alexander's father, Donald Urquhart, was born in Scotland and settled on Concession 5, lot 8 in 1832. This is located in Scott Township and the post office address for the family was at Uxbridge. The size of the lot was 99.5 acres.

From 1871 until at least 1901, Alexander and Jane were in Georgina Township in York County. The 1901 census page is cut off at the left hand side, but does seem to indicate that they were located in Udora Village at the time.
