Her parents returned to Canada for Edith's birth. Edith went to the University of Toronto where she received her B.A. She took her nursing at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. She later earned a doctor's degree in education at Columbia University in New York City in 1953. She was principal and later vice principal at the nursing school in New Delhi, India, for many years. Edith's ashes were returned to India and buried beside her sister Ruth. |
