NoteThe date for George's death is taken from the Waterloo Branch of the OGS transcription of Mountview Cemetery. He is buried with his first wife, Ellen J. Telfer who died Feb. 4, 1926, and their seven month old daughter Ida Jean who died March 24, 1914.

George and Ellen were married in Galt on 25 January 1911 by Dr. James Dickson of Central Presbyterian Church.

Such records as we have indicate that George and Ellen had at least two daughters, Jessie born in 1912, and Ida born in 1913.

Jessie married a John W. Macey. They died together tragically on March 26, 1937, when their car collided with a train at a level crossing at Dundas Street in Galt. They are buried in Mountview Cemetery.
