| Note | At the time of the 1901 census at North Dumfries, Eddie is shown as a well driller. The family has not been found in the 1911 census. At some point it does appear that they moved to Galt. Daughter Viola was residing in Galt when she married in 1919. Edward appears as Eddie in most records. In the 1881 census he is Edwin. His daughter Viola gives his name as Edward on her marriage registration and he appears as Edward on his stone at Mountview in Galt. He is buried with his parents and Harvie family siblings, though his name is spelled on his stone as Harvey. Margaret does not appear to be buried with him and her place of burial has not been found. |
