Catharine appears in the 1871 census with her parents in North Dumfries. She is said to be age 10. No other children appear and none are mentioned on the stone in section 2 of Mountview Cemetery where Catharine is buried with her parents. Catharine's baptism is extracted from First Church records for the year 1860. This appears on microfilm reel GS2987 at the Archives of Ontario and is taken from microfilm LCM-30 which is in possession of the United Church of Canada Archives in Toronto. |
