The Waterloo Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society provides a transcription of Catharine's gravestone in section 2 of Mountview Cemetery in Galt, which reads: 23E-14-1 Sacred/to the memory of/Mrs. Catharine Keachie/who died/Aug. 31, 1876/aged/45 ys. 11 mo's/'Blessed are the dead who die/in the Lord' Catharine's date of birth is calculated from her age at time of death. A place of burial for her husband has not been found. |
