| Note | Isabella Moscrip appears in the 1851 census, taken in January of 1852, as being age 1 as of her next birthday. A difficulty here is that this census was slated to begin on January 4, 1852, and First Church baptisms record the baptism of Isabella Moscrip on January 4, 1851. It seems reasonable that Isabella was born in late 1850. It was at first thought that baptisms for First Church did not begin until much later, but pages for First Church baptisms have been found back with reasonable continuity to 1833. A Moscrip baptism does not appear prior to Isabella's. Death reg. 026015-02 Galt, Waterloo Co. Bella Moscrip died Sept 2nd 1902. Age 51. Residence Samuelson St. Spinster/Single. Born N. Dumfries, Ont. Paralysis many years. Physician and informant T. W. Vardon. Isabella is buried with her family in section 4 of Mountview Cemetery, Galt. |
