There must have been a Wesleyan Methodist presence in Maryborough from at least this time, though the web site, FadedGenes, does not record a Wesleyan Methodist Church in the village of Hollen until August of 1863. There was a post office at Hollen from 1852 until 1914. This latter per Ghost & Post Offices of Ontario, 1986, Floreen Carter.|
The FadedGenes website tells that the church at Hollen was destroyed by fire in 1915, the church records along with it.
