MarriageHe married Mary Hall on 10 October 1836 at Cottisford, Oxfordshire, England.
The banns of marriage were read in the church at Cottisford for:

William Collingridge, widower, of the parish of Hardwick, and Mary Hall, spinster, of this parish.

The banns were read on the 25th September, 1836, and the 2nd and 9th of October.

The Cottisford marriage register records that William Collingridge of Hardwick and Mary Hall, spinster of 'this parish' were married in the church by banns on 10 October, 1836, by William Watson, curate.The witnesses were Jame Rouk and Lucy Collingridge.

The bride and groom signed the document with an X. Lucy Collingridge did as well. James Rouk was evidently able to sign his name.
 
DeathHe died on 29 December 1882 at West Garafraxa Twp., Wellington Co.. 
NoteHe William and Mary's marriage registration shows William as a widower. The name of his first wife has yet to be found.

William Collingridge died Dec. 29, 1882. Age 71 years, 5 months. Farmer. Congregationalist. Born Oxfordshire, England. Physician Dr. Groves.

The registrar of West Garafraxa, John Hill, entered a note in the place of the informant, which reads:

Sent by mail without signature.

The date Hill received the notice was December 30th, so the information was sent promptly.

A place of burial has not been found for William Collingridge or his wife Mary Hall. Their daughter-in-law died in 1872 and is buried in McCormick Pioneer Cemetery in Eramosa Township. William and Mary may be buried there as well, but the Guelph branch of the OGS transcription done in 1986 does not record the stone.
