Henry is shown as a lumberman. The date of registration is shown as May 20, 1871, but so is every other registration on the page. As stated in the notes for Helen's father, Henry Moe Misener, in later years Henry registered the births of four children in Wallaceburg, Ontario, Helen's included. So far as Helen is concerned, this may be safely disregarded. In the 1920 U.S. census, John and Helen are in Detroit. He is said to be a Printing Contractor. In the 1930 census they are at Inglewood, Los Angeles, and he is still a printer and she is a book keeper in a drygoods store. |
