| Note | Initially, we take Carlton's given name from the 1871 and 1881censuses in Niagara Township, Lincoln County. In both, he is shown as 'Carlton', age 6 in the first and age 16 in the second. Later information suggests that his name was Carlington. This latter is apparently the more accurate. Death reg. 016320-00 St. Catharines, Lincoln Co. Carlington Parnell died 8th Feby 1900, age 35. Residence Niagara Falls, Ont. Railroad man. Born Canada. Methodist. Physician and informant Dr. J. Joy. This states that he died on 8 Feby, 1900, in G & M Hospital, St. Catharines. He was born in Grantham Township, resided in Niagara Falls, and was buried Feby. 10, 1900, in section A, plot 55, Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario. |
