| Note | John Horsman appears in the 1851 census with father and step mother in the 1851 census in East Nissouri Township. He is not present in the 1861 census. Oxford County Libraries provides an index for Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. This records that John was buried with his mother and, later, his father and the inscription they quote tells that he died on September 10, 1854, at the age of 21 years and 8 months. This places his birth to approximately January of 1833. Barring an obituary, we have little other information. |
