The marriage was by license. Rev. Pettigrew was the minister at the Presbyterian church in Glen Morris. The township clerk, Wm. Fleming, did not return the page of marriages until May of 1899, hence the registration of this marriage is listed under 1899 at the Archives of Ontario. |
