The witness, James Sharp Jr., is obviously Isabella's brother; Alexander Buchanan was married to Margaret Stewart who was William Stewart's sister. Alex Buchanan's brother William came to Glen Morris around 1868 and he and wife Catherine had a son Alex, but at the time of the marriage of William Stewart and Isabella Sharp, young Alex would have been about 14. |
