| Note | Ada's date birth, June 7, 1879, is taken from the 1901 census in North Crosby Township, Leeds County. A birth registration has not been found. Death reg. 005956-19 Toronto, York Co. Ada May McClement died Oct 11, 1919, at 175 Fairview Ave. Age 41, born Ontario, burial Westport, Ontario. Physician O. G. Niemeier, 94 Annette St. Informant Wm. Speers, 2926 Dundas Street. The doctor's name is almost indecipherable on the form, but the 1919 Toronto city directory shows him as a physician at 94 Annette Street - O. Niemeier. Wm. Speers on Dundas Street is the undertaker. Ada's parents are buried in Old Presbyterian Cemetery at Newboro. Newboro is about 8km, or 5 miles, from Westport. Both villages are in North Crosby Township, Leeds County. This is in the Rideau Lakes area. |
