The Halton & Peel branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society has published the transcription of Milton Pioneer Cemetery wherein George and his sister Matilda are buried. The original transcription was done in 1976 and was updated in 1981. Asterisks are added to stones that were missing as of the update and Matilda's was among the missing. George's stone was still present. The original transcription for George's stone reads: George son of Richard and Ellenor Husband who died May 19 1873 aged 20 yrs 8 mos & 15 days. Based on his age at time of death, his date of birth is calculated to 4 September, 1852. |
