Elisabeth is the first child Christened in Symington, Lanark, and the family was still in Symington as of the 1841 Scottish census. Elisabeth is still living and present in the family household in that census, but James and Jean had a daughter in 1843 whom they named Elisabeth, so we must believe that Elisabeth of 1825 is deceased. |
