On 29 Oct. 1902 at New Sheffield by Rev. C.A. Cavers. The bride and groom were Methodists.

The handwriting of Beverly Township clerk, Wallace McDonald, was a thing of beauty in his early years. Before long, it rather suddenly became difficult to read. McDonald died in 1905 at age 84 and was not long retired. His writing did not improve with age, but, with study of his record keeping, one gains a sense that he very much cared about the people that he served. The marriage record for Oran and Eliza is difficult to decipher. The transcription given above is based on some familiarity with his script.
