| Note | Helen's date of death is transcribed from her gravestone as May 28, 1892, and this appears to be correct as shown by the photograph of the stone as provided by Find-a-Grave. The month isn't entirely clear in the photo, but 28, 1892, is clear. It's mildly interesting that First Church's, Galt, death records show her death as May 26, but that the communicants records show her death as the 28th of May, per her gravestone. Either date, a death registration for Helen has not been found and we fall back on such information as provided by her gravestone. She may have died in Beverly Township, but she quite possibly died elsewhere. She is buried in section 3 of Mountview Cemetery with her husband. |
