NoteCaroline's father is shown in both her marriages as David Geiger. Her mother's name is variously spelled as Wever or Wibber. A record of her parents' marriage shows that they were married in Woolwich Township and that her mother's name was Fanny Weber (her proper first name appears to have been Veronica.)

When Carrie married Alfred James Fitzsimmons, her place of birth was simply shown as Ontario. When she married Peter Harbach in 1925, her place of birth was shown as Wallace. This might reasonably be interpreted as being Wallace Township in Perth County. Her parents, however, were married in Woolwich Township in October of 1869. She was with her parents as of the 1871 census and they were still in Woolwich. It's a guess, but Wallace being shown as the place of her birth was probably a handwriting problem on the part of the clergyman. She was probably born in Woolwich and this is shown here, but it's entirely possible that Wallace is correct.

The 1871 census shows Carrie's birth as being in June of 1870.

Caroline is buried with husband Peter in Elmwood Cemetery. A photograph of their gravestone is provided by CanGenWeb and this shows Caroline and Peter's years of birth and death.
