| Note | Oliver and Matilda were married in 1874 in Elk Rapids, Antrim County, Michigan. By the time of the U.S. 1880 census they are in Traverse City, Michigan. They have with them three children. Also in the household is shown Henry Anderson, age 22, born Canada. He is shown as a brother-in-law to Oliver. He is said to work in a lumber yard. At a guess, he is probably Matilda's brother who appears in records as William H. Anderson who is believed to have been born in approximately 1858. |
