Residence at place of death 16 years. (Elizabeth's father's first name is faded and unreadable.) Father...Wismer, and Mother Susannah Cressman, both born Pennsylvania. Physician Dr. J. S. Wardlaw, Galt. Informant N. Abra, Galt, son. Burial at Blair on March 13th. Elizabeth's age as shown on her death registration is quite obviously wrong. Her gravestone is inscribed with her age as 93 years. Other information makes it clear enough that she is the daughter of John Wismer. Roseville is in North Dumfries. It seems rather more likely that she was born near Roseville...which may be correct. The informant was, after all, her son. |
