On all six birth registrations on the page that recorded the birth of Jared, the father is the informant. Rather unusually, instead of entering the informant as the father, the registering clerk as used the wire 'sire'. After looking at probably a couple of thousand birth registrations, this is the first occasion where the word 'sire' has been seen used in the place of 'father'. |
