Charlotte's place of birth is shown as Meaford. The Olmsteads actually lived in St. Vincent Township of Grey County. This per the 1871 and 1881 censuses. Meaford, Ontario, is located in St. Vincent Township. Charlotte, giving her place of birth as Meaford, probably meant it in the sense of being near Meaford.
