Henrietta Stokes, 19, born Canada, residing East Gwillimbury.
Parents George & Henrietta Stokes.

On 15 November, 1862.

NoteHenrietta Stokes' husband, James McGrath, is either living next door or under the same roof as of the 1861 census in East Gwillimbury Township. Henrietta and James are in Alameda County, California, as of the 1870 U.S. census. They have with them one son William as well as a 16 year old Henrietta Stokes, apparently a niece.

The 1880 U. S. Census has Henrietta still in Alameda County with two sons, William and Walter. She is shown as a widow.

She has been found in Alameda County as late as the 1910 U.S. census, living with son Walter. This census shows Henrietta as coming to the U.S. in 1864. Sons William and Walter were evidently born in California. Henrietta has not been found after the 1910 census.
