On 17th December, 1912, at Galt, by Rev. J. A. R. Dickson, Presbyterian.

Rev Dickson was minister at Central Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of Melville and Main Streets on the west side of the Grand River.

Edward's place of birth is faded and almost illegible. At first glance, it appears to say Guelph, but on more careful examination it is actually shown as Canada. This latter would be unusual.
