Elizabeth Mary Doyle was born on 22 April 1878 in South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1,2 She was the daughter of Michael Doyle and Elizabeth Mary Dunn.1 She was baptized on 2 June 1878 in St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.1 She married John Francis Burnash on 30 November 1916 in Gananoque, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.3 She and John Francis Burnash immigrated in March 1918 to Adams Twp, Jefferson County, New York. They entered at the port of Cape Vincent, NY stating that they had purchased a farm in Adams, and intended to reside there permanently. They were accompanied by John's children Rose Burnash and John Stanley Burnash. Joseph Burnash and Patrick Michael Burnash, his other young sons, do not appear on the manifest, however they are residing with John and Elizabeth on the 1920 census.4 She died on 19 August 1933 at age 55.5 She was buried in Rural Cemetery, Adams, Jefferson County, New YorkG.5
