She witnessed the death of Francis Arvin Bouker on 12 August 1988 in Seattle, King County, Washington.4,2 She lived in Seattle, Washington, between 1937 and 2000.4 She died on 11 June 2000 in Seattle, Washington, at age 89.2,4
Germaine's obituary in the Seattle Times on 14 June 2000 read:
Research Note: Most genealogies give Nina's surname as Lawrence and her father as William Lawrence. However, the California Birth Index shows only one child born in 1910 to a mother whose maiden name was Colvig - the child's name is Germaine H Rhine. The 1910 census also shows a William J Rhine as a lodger in the home of Agnes Colvig (Nina's grandmother.)1

Longtime member of Holy Rosary Parish; and a proud resident of West Seattle since 1937. Viewing and Vigil Service 7 p.m., this evening, Wednesday, June 14, 2000 WIGGEN & SONS FUNERAL HOME 2003 N.W. 57th St., Seattle. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Thursday, at Holy Rosary Church, 42nd S.W. and Genesee, Seattle. Memorials are suggested to West Seattle Food Bank, 3518 S.W. Genesee, Seattle, 98126."
