William Bosworth was born on 4 April 1693 in Draycott, Wilne Parish, Derbyshire, England. He was the son of John Bosworth and Hannah Harris. He married Jane Porter, daughter of Samuel Porter and Mary Squire, in January 1722/23 in Ockbrook, Derbyshire, England. He died on 14 March 1735/36 in Derbyshire, England, at age 42.
