June Hall

      June Hall was born on 1 June 1912 in Magrath, Alberta. She was the daughter of Orson Hall and Maria Hall.¹ On her sixteenth birthday, June received a card from her grandmother Anna Maria Singleton. She married Deral Reid West, son of Curtis Andrew West and Iona Larson, on 22 December 1933 in Taber, Alberta. June reminisced about her childhood Christmases in a letter to her grandchildren. Then in the 1990s she wrote a short story of her life. She died on 22 February 1998 in Magrath, Alberta, at age 85.² She was buried on 25 February 1998 in Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond, Alberta.
