By the time of the 1931 census, Bessie is shown with her husband Herbert Letson. With them is a son of Bessie's, evidently by Herbert, Kenneth, age 7. Also with them is shown Herbert's step-daughter, first name illegible, but she was evidently Marjorie Aileen Rogers, so found named on her 1940 marriage register in Guelph.

The Registrar General's rubber stamp, somewhat faded, appears to be dated with the year being either 1921 or 1924. The actual registration, however, does appear to be filed with the 1922 marriage registrations and the numbers as applied, it is believed by the Ontario archives, are in sequence.
