ID # 1639, (1832-1858)
| Birth | Phoebe Vrooman was born on 18 February 1832. |
| Marriage | She married Jacob Shier on 5 April 1848 at Home District.
A rather faded and blurred marriage record exists for the Home District for Jacob Shire and Phebe Vrooman, both of Brock Township. The marriage took place on April 5, 1848. The witnesses were Adam Shire and Eliza Shire. The marriage was by the reading of banns. The minister was C.W.M. Gilbert of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Gilbert only identifies the marriages as having taken place in the Home District, though most of the brides and grooms were resident in Brock Township. Whether the marriages were performed in Brock is another matter. The marriages listed are spread out from October of 1847 to November of 1848 and there are only nine marriages shown. |
| Death | She died on 7 August 1858 at age 26. |
| Burial | She was buried at Vroomanton United Church Cemetery. |
