Abraham B. Clemmer, died Jan. 9, 1893. Age 77 yrs., 3 mos., 14 dys. Farmer. Mennonite. Born Montgomery County, U.S, Informant Ezra E. Eby.
There are one or two inconsistencies between Abraham's death registration, the inscription on his gravestone, and the vignette for Abraham Clemmer as presented in Ezra E. Eby's history. What makes this discrepancy rather interesting is that we are left wondering if the Ezra E. Eby who wrote the Waterloo Township history is one and the same as the Ezra E. Eby who was the informant in Abraham Clemmer's death.
It should be noted that Abraham B. Clemmer, the husband of Lydia Schantz, died in 1908, and is buried in Snyder's Mennonite Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
