Rev. Isaac Brock Howard was a Wesleyan Methodist minister who served in E. Flamborough from 1852-1854. The above marriage record does not tell us the location of the marriage. If Rev. Howard was a circuit rider, then it may well be that they were married in Beverly Township. This is not certain, however.

Ruth and James Hunt were living in Derby Township, Grey County, at least as early as the 1861 census. Ruth was still living in Derby as late as the 1891 census. See notes under husband James for land transactions with John Gamble.
