Burial Forest Lawn Mausoleum on May 20, 1940. John's death registration shows his place of birth as St. George and this will no doubt have been the postal address at the time, though the family was located in the township, South Dumfries as it recently had become with the advent of the county system. The death registration shows John's mother's maiden name as Shork. This does appear elsewhere, though the more common spelling was Shook. Charlotte's name appears on her gravestone in St. George Cemetery as Shook. |
