Name Clarence Wait, Parents Levi and Mary, Birth place Blenheim, Birth date 1858-08-20, Bapt. date 1859-06-20, Bapt place Blenheim, by Rev. H. Reid. The transcription as it appears shows a birth year for Clarence of 1838, rather than 1858. This will be a typographical error, for it isn't a possible year, even if Clarence's mother was Hester Cope. Beyond that, Clarence, Robert R., and Elizabeth R., were all baptized on the same day in what will have been the same ceremony. Clarence does not appear with the family in the 1861 census at Blenheim, so it appears that he did not survive infancy. |
