| Note | There are two transcriptions for Washington Cemetery. One shows Anylany's age as six years and the other as six months. The 1861 census was begun on 14 August, 1861, so, either way, the child should have appeared on the census. Since the grave stone shows her as the Levi and Mary, she appears here with her siblings. At a guess, her age as being six months is the most likely one to be correct.
Her name, Anylany, while odd, is obviously a contraction of the names of her two grandmothers: Anna (Shoup) and Laney (Bauslaugh). |
