| Note | Birth reg. 001978-85 Burford, Brant Co. Sidney Muma born Oct. 27th, 1884. Parents Nelson Muma, farmer, and Mary Ann Starr. Physician Dr. Aikman. Registered on July 7th, 1885. The name of the informant is not given, but the address, presumably of the informant, is lot 13, concession 2, Burford. Probably, this is where Nelson and Mary Ann resided. Sidney is with his parents and siblings in Turtle Mountain, Selkirk, Manitoba, at the time of the 1891 census. The 1921 census has Sidney and Edith at MacLeod, Alberta. With them are four children. The first is born in Manitoba, the following two were born in British Columbia, and the last, an 11 month old daughter, is born in Alberta. As of the 1930 U.S. census, Sidney and Edith are in Squaw Valley, California. Birth places are given for the children with them and it is evident that they spent at least some time in in Oregon, for one child is recorded as being born there. |
