An index to the St. Thomas Times Journal provided by the Elgin County Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society, indicates that there was an engagement notice with photo for Florence Sloggett and Dr. William Paul Buchanan in the 9 August, 1930, edition. The marriage was slated for late August. The marriage registration, only recently available on microfilm at the Archives of Ontario, has been found and can be seen under marriage notes. |
