Nbr. 303
By license in Dumfries Nov. 16, 1849.
John Rennie and Caroline Keachie, both of Dumfries
Witnesses James Keachie and Duncan Sheppard of...

The microfilm image as it appears on GS2987 is rather faded. The residence for both witnesses is evidently the same and may be Dumfries, but lack of clarity of the image makes this uncertain. Rev. Strang's entries for 1849 in the District Marriage Register only run to early 1849. It may be that the microfilm LCM series at the United Church Archives has a clearer image, but this has not been examined.

DeathHe died on 21 January 1905 at North Easthope Twp., Perth County, at age 86.
BurialHe was buried at St. Andrews Presbyterian Cemetery, Easthope North.
NoteAn Atlas dated 1879 places John B. Rennie on lot 1 of the 4th concession of North Easthope. The lot size is said to be 100 acres, so this is a half township lot. This is per the McGill University Canadian County Atlas Digital Project.
