On Sept. 8th, 1873, at Ancaster, by Rev. David Williams. The bride and groom were Baptists. |

| Note | Lydia is buried at Lynden Cemetery under her maiden name without reference to Charles. Bishop, Lydia Jane, d. 18 Apr 1889, aged 33y 4m 15ds, d/o Lorenzo D. & Elenor Bishop Charles is living with father George and mother Jane at the time of the 1881 census in North Dumfries. It would appear that Charles and Lydia were separated. No death registration for Lydia Jane has been found, either under Bishop or Buchanan. A search has been made, but it would appear that her death was not registered. |
